Key Dates Admission procedures for Sciences Po Paris
They are two different ways to apply to Sciences Po Paris as an international student, depending on the nationality of your diploma.
If you are applying from a foreign secondary school, you must apply through Sciences Po Paris’ International Admissions Pathway.
This pathway is open for all candidates who are currently enrolled in a foreign secondary school and are preparing both a foreign and a French diploma. (Ex: International Baccalaureate diploma, A-levels, Abitur, Maturité Suisse…)
Important information to know before applying:
- You may only apply to the Sciences Po Bachelor once
- You may only submit your application through a single admissions pathway
- If you have a special dispensation (such as a derogation) you may only apply once Sciences Po has approved your request
All candidates applying from a foreign school must create and submit an application via the Sciences Po admissions website, adhering to the deadlines outlined in the admissions calendar.
Please note: All candidates applying through this admissions pathway have the option of applying to two programmes offered at the Undergraduate College, including dual degree programmes.
If you are applying from a French secondary school, you must apply through the Parcoursup admissions pathway.
This pathway is open for all international candidates who are enrolled in a French high school and are preparing both a French and a foreign diploma. (Ex: Abibac, Esabic, Bachibac)
Applicants must open and validate an application file on the Parcoursup portal according to the calendar common to all French institutions.
The Parcoursup Application Process :
- Opening of the online registration phase and choice of wishes according to the Parcoursup calendar
- Validation of applications and finalization of file: according to the Parcoursup calendar
- Oral interviews at Sciences Po: May 2022. For double degrees with Sorbonne University, oral interviews may begin at the end of April. No interviews will be held between May 9 and 13, 2022 inclusive for candidates taking the specialization tests.
- Admission results: June 8, 2022 on the Parcoursup portal
Please note: Applicants eligible for the Boutmy scholarship must contact the Admissions Department by email once their file has been validated in Parcoursup to apply for the scholarship. If they are accepted, they must send their proof of income by June 5, 2022 at the latest so that their application can be studied (mandatory title of the message “Boutmy scholarship application – Parcoursup candidate”).
